Gamma Rho Lambda National Convention!

Last weekend (July 8-10), nine members of Gamma Rho Lambda Purdue Eta Chapter traveled out to the largest Gamma Rho Lambda National Convention yet hosted by our sisters at California State University Northridge Epsilon Chapter! It was an amazing experience where the members had the chance to learn new things about the sorority, see how far Gamma Rho Lambda has come and to meet our brothers and sisters across the country! It definitely was an eye opening experience for all the members and we look forward to starting school again to start up recruitment to welcome new members into our growing family here at Purdue!

After going through Spring Rush, we are proud to introduce our 7 new members of the Delta Class! Start of a new spring semester and Chapter!

With the start of a new spring semester, we are also proud to announce that Gamma Rho Lambda at Purdue is now the new Eta Chapter from all the hard work of sisters past and present! Thank you for all the support from the Purdue LGBT community for helping us make it through these last few semesters.

We are starting off Spring Rush this week again with Meet The Greeks today from 12 pm – 3pm in the North Ballroom in the Purdue Memorial Union with the Panhellenic Call-outs tonight and tomorrow night 1/18 & 1/19 in Beering B243 at 7pm. We will also be at the Big Gay Callout on Thursday 1/20/11 in CL50 224. The rest of our rush schedule is on our Recruitment page if you are interested! Hopefully you can come out to join us at one of our events and decide if rushing Gamma Rho Lambda is for you!

New Gamma Class!

Over the past few weeks, we went through our Fall Rush and we are proud to announce 4 new members to our Gamma Class! Joining us for our Gamma Class are Jenn, Amanda, Kai and Chelsea! Time for Fall Rush!

It’s two weeks into the new semester here at Purdue and we are all excited for our Fall Rush that is starting tomorrow! Come meet all of us, get to know us during this rush season and decide for yourself if joining GRL is the path for you!

GRL 3rd National Convention

Earlier this month, 6 of our members traveled to Tempe, Arizona for Gamma Rho Lambda’s 3rd National Convention which was hosted by our Alpha Chapter at Arizona State University. It was quite the experience for our members to meet their fellow sisters in states nationwide. The friendly family atmosphere along with the hospitality of our hosts definitely opened eyes and re-affirmed our common goals, aided with sessions held by our national members.

With school less then a month away, we are getting ready to meet the new incoming freshmen class and get rush started with a big bang! If you are interested, please contact us or come to one or more of our rush events this fall!

Gamma Rho Lambda is a new greek sorority that is starting up on Purdue’s campus. We are a far more unique sorority as we are an all inclusive sorority, featuring a trans brother -gasp-!
